Having stayed at Gîte Le Moulin for the second time, I found the price/value ideal for solo travelers on a budget. The shared kitchen is well-equipped for meal prep or heating, ensuring a comfortable stay. The cleanliness and inclusion of a washing machine were very convenient. I appreciated the seamless late check-in process, thanks to the helpful receptionist leaving the keys in a secure spot. The location within a regional natural park offers stunning views of the river and easy access to biking and hiking trails. Plus, being just 12 km from Château d'Azay-le-Ferron and a short distance from Val de l'Indre Golf Course and Le Roc aux Sorciers, the hotel is a great base for exploring the area. The vicinity to Saint-Savin Abbey and Loches provides a glimpse into the region's rich history. The rooms, featuring a shared bathroom and city views, were comfortable and clean. Bike hire on-site is a fantastic perk for guests to explore the picturesque surroundings.
